☕ Welcome to the Studio

Well…here we are.

The very first issue of The Timeless Ledger.

This idea has been rattling around in my head for months. After changing my mind approximately forty-seven times (which, if you’ve been around for a while, probably won’t surprise you 😄), I finally decided to stop overthinking it and just do it.

My hope is that this becomes our little monthly catch-up.

Social media moves so quickly that it’s easy to miss things. One day there’s a new kit, the next there’s a freebie, then a live, and before long everyone’s wondering where that post disappeared to.

Truthfully…sometimes I’m wondering the same thing. 😂

So, on the first of every month, we’ll meet here instead.

A place to catch up, see what’s happening around the studio, download this month’s companion pack, and maybe share a laugh or two along the way.

August has always felt like the last big stretch of summer before life starts getting busy again. My notebook is already filling up with ideas faster than I can turn them into printable pages, which is usually a good sign that exciting things are on the way.

Whether you’ve been creating with Timeless Scraps for years or you’ve only just stumbled across this little corner of the internet…

I’m really glad you’re here.

✂️ On My Worktable

North Valley Wildflower Archive preview from the August 2026 Timeless Ledger

If you’ve been around Timeless Scraps for any length of time, you’ll know I have a bit of a soft spot for botanicals.

There’s just something about old field guides, pressed flowers, handwritten notes, and vintage nature studies that makes me want to turn them into printable pages.

This month’s featured collection is North Valley Wildflower Archive, inspired by the wildflowers, butterflies, bees, and dragonflies that make summer feel…well…like summer.

It was one of those collections where every page sparked another idea, and before I knew it, I’d gone a little further than originally planned. (That happens more often than I’d like to admit. 😄)

🎁 This Month’s Companion Pack

Every month I’ll tuck a little something extra into The Timeless Ledger as a thank you for stopping by.

For this very first issue, I couldn’t resist celebrating two things that make August special.

The first is The Quiet Orchard. There is something wonderfully peaceful about orchard season—the first apples beginning to ripen, weathered wooden crates, faded fruit labels, and that gentle feeling that summer is slowly making room for autumn. It always reminds me that inspiration can be found in the simplest moments.

The second is International Thrift Shop Day on August 17th.

If you’re anything like me, a thrift shop isn’t just somewhere to hunt for bargains—it’s a treasure hunt. Every old book, handwritten letter, vintage photograph, lace tablecloth, or forgotten tin has lived a life before it found its way onto the shelf. As junk journalers, we get to give those treasures a second chapter, weaving them into journals that will tell new stories for years to come.

I loved the idea of celebrating that spirit of rediscovery with a little thrift shop-inspired page, because sometimes the best creative inspiration is hiding where nobody else is looking.

Along with those themed pages, I’ve also included 15 vintage-inspired background papers. They’re the kind of versatile pages I reach for again and again when layering journals, building collage backgrounds, or adding a little extra character to a page.

I hope they inspire you to create something you’ll love.

One of the greatest joys of doing what I do isn’t designing the printables…

…it’s seeing what you create with them.

Every journal page, handmade card, scrapbook layout, and mixed media project tells a different story. I love seeing how the same printable can end up looking completely different in ten different hands. That’s the magic of creativity.

👀 Looking Ahead

As much as I’d love to tell you everything that’s waiting on my worktable…where would the fun be in that? 😄

What I can tell you is that the next few months are shaping up to be some of my busiest—and most exciting—yet. There are new printable collections already in the works, plenty of ideas scribbled across my notebook, and a few surprises that I’m keeping tucked away until they’re ready.

One thing I’m especially looking forward to is introducing some new classes. So many of you have asked for more opportunities to create along with me, and I’m finally starting to put those plans into motion. There are still a few details to work out, but I can’t wait to share more as everything comes together.

Until then, I’ll keep doing what I do best—making paper, drinking coffee, and occasionally wondering where I put my scissors…only to discover they’re already in my hand.
